January was all about behind-the-scenes updates — those critical for platform stability, compliance, and consistency across the Real Geeks ecosystem.
When bigger features launch, you’ll see those announced separately in your email inbox and on our Product Updates blog. Here’s what shipped this month.
Released: January 8
iOS & Android
This update focused on compliance and maintenance improvements to support ongoing platform health.
What’s included:
No workflow changes required — everything should continue working as expected.
Released on iOS & Android: January 8
Similar maintenance updates were released for the MoveTo App to keep experiences aligned across platforms.
What’s included:
Target audience age updated to 18+
This change does not affect how the app functions for agents or consumers.
Released on iOS & Android: January 16
A small patch release focused on cleanup and performance monitoring.
What’s included:
Minor bug fixes
Improved filtering of unnecessary error reports sent to Sentry
This helps our team keep a clearer signal on real issues while maintaining app performance.
Released: January 29
To keep language consistent across consumer experiences — and to meet updated carrier requirements — we made a small update to registration form disclaimer language when a checkbox is present.
Why this matters:
Aligns registration language across the Real Geeks ecosystem
Supports new A2P 10DLC carrier requirements, which are required for text messaging and calling from the platform
Expected to have negligible impact on lead conversion
What’s changing:
Updated disclaimer copy on registration forms where applicable.
For new platforms, this setting will be on by default.
The update is designed to be clear without adding friction.
Released on iOS & Android: January 29
This release addressed a platform-specific crash and included light dependency updates.
What’s included:
Fixed a crash related to dropdown menu usage on Android
Updated minor Expo dependencies
Released on iOS & Android: January 29
A small quality-of-life update to improve version awareness.
What’s included:
Added an in-app prompt alert when a major app version is available in the app stores
This helps ensure users stay up to date with the latest improvements and fixes.
